Instant Movie Enhancement!
A Little Trick for Home Movie Watchers (or booth techs @ the theaters)
1.) Watch a movie all the way through.
2.) Pay attention when funny, scary, intense scenes are approaching their peak! I believe it called Crescendo? Had to do a spell check there sorry.
3.) Watch the movie again with someone else and grab the remote.
4.) In the instances before the Crescendo (sp) start ramping the sound volume up... up ....
5.) Higher still ... following the action (your speakers can handle it)
6.) Listen for memorable parts in dialogue, cats jumping, knifes hacking or other scream/awww moments and quickly bring it all back down to what is referred to as "COMFORTABLE"
7.) Rinse and Repeat!
Intense action can lead to sore thumbs!
Never leave the sound editing remote alone... your friends will hide it if they get a chance.
